Our History
SATH was founded with a clear vision: to create a professional network and development community for ambitious young people in Denmark.
The idea arose from a recognition that many talented young people lacked access to the networks and resources that are often crucial for career development. Founder Moiz Khalil, with his own experience from both business and the NGO world, saw a need for a platform where young people could meet, learn from each other, and gain access to mentors and role models.
From the beginning, SATH has been driven by volunteer engagement and a belief that diversity is a strength. The organization bridges the gap between young talent and established professionals, creating space for both professional development and personal growth.
Today, SATH is working to expand its network and activities, with a focus on lectures, mentorship programs, and events that strengthen members' career opportunities and create lasting relationships across industries and backgrounds.
The Board

Asima Ali
Chair
Asima Ali is the Chair of SATH. Asima is an economist and works as an executive officer at the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority, where she supervises some of Denmark's largest banking groups. With experience from both the banking sector and humanitarian work, she brings a strong combination of financial insight, governance, and regulatory expertise. As Chair, she holds the overall responsibility for the organization's strategic development, leadership, and continued growth. With a focus on collaboration, development, and strong partnerships, she will help strengthen SATH's position and create even more value for the organization's members.
Minahil Nawaz Khan
Vice Chair
Minahil Nawaz Khan is the Vice Chair of SATH. She has an educational background in tech, economics, and business. Her professional experience includes business analytics at DSV and cloud solutions at Amazon Web Services and Netcompany. Minahil has international experience from Cornell University in New York, and has an understanding of multiple cultures. Minahil brings experience from quality boards and NGO work, contributing a strategic perspective and coordination to the organization.
Haris Bin Waris
Treasurer & Board Member
Haris Bin Waris is the Treasurer and a Board Member at SATH. He works with VC, startups, and finance as co-lead on the deal team at ReBloom, where he handles deal origination and institutional investor relations. He has previously worked with fintech and venture in early-stage startups such as Endavu and Alice, as well as the venture fund KRING, served on the youth board of Plan Børnefonden, and is a Youth Advisor at the U.S. Embassy. He also studies BSc in Business Administration and Communication at CBS and is an active voice on LinkedIn.
Ahmed Khokher
Board Member
Ahmed Khokher is a lawyer and works in the prosecution service. He has experience with legal investigations and legal assessments, as well as study abroad and volunteer work at a legal aid clinic. At SATH, he contributes legal expertise and is part of the Ambassador Team, where he enters into partnership agreements with public and private stakeholders.
Dawood Ali
Board Member
Dawood Ali is a Board Member at SATH and is in the final part of his medical studies at the University of Copenhagen. He currently works as a locum doctor with experience from emergency departments, psychiatry, and general practice. Alongside his clinical work, he has built experience in leadership, research, and healthcare advisory, including through roles at the Danish Health Authority and a health tech company in the private sector. At SATH, Dawood contributes a strong commitment to developing new initiatives, supporting events, and creating more value for the organization's members.
Ubah Yassin
Board Member
Ubah Yassin is a Board Member at SATH. She holds a degree in business law from CBS and works as a Legal Counsel. She has experience with contract law, IP, and digital regulation, as well as a strong commitment to organizational work and entrepreneurship. On the board, Ubah leads the branding team with responsibility for the organization's overall presence on social media.
Zeenat Haroon
Board Member
Zeenat Haroon is a Board Member at SATH and studies classical archaeology at the University of Copenhagen. She is the founder and host of Let's Dig Deeper Podcast and communications manager at My Law Story. Zeenat has solid experience in communication and outreach in the legal industry and the museum world, and has had international stays at the Danish institutes in Athens and Rome. On SATH's board, Zeenat is the team leader for P&O and contributes strong communication skills, creative outreach, and a focus on strengthening the organization's internal engagement.
Our Teams
SATH is driven by dedicated volunteers organized into specialized teams, each contributing unique competencies to the organization's mission.
Solution Team
Develops and implements strategic solutions for the organization's challenges. The team works with innovation, project management and ensures that SATH's initiatives create real value for members.
Ambassador Team
Represents SATH externally and creates connections to external partners, companies and educational institutions. The ambassadors are the organization's public face.
Branding Team
Manages SATH's visual identity and communication. The team handles social media, graphic design, content production and ensures a consistent brand experience.
Funding Team
Works with fundraising, sponsorships and financial sustainability. The team secures the necessary resources to realize the organization's ambitions and activities.
P&O Team
The People & Operations team handles member recruitment, onboarding and internal communication. They ensure that new members feel welcome and engaged in the community.
Advisory Board
Experienced advisors from the business world who contribute strategic guidance, mentorship and their professional network for the benefit of SATH and its members.
